The von Roos Hamiltonian is considered for zero-energy states using cylindrical coordinates in an azimuthally symmetrized settings. We suggest a position-dependent mass in the form of M(rho,phi,z)= b*z^j*rho^(?2*nu?+1)/2. We show that such E = 0 setting not only offers an additional degree of freedom towards feasible separability for the von Roos Hamiltonian, but also manifestly yields quasi-quantized ambiguity parametric constraints.
