The dependence of mass-loss rates of WNE stars on metallicity Z has been
derived from the solutions of optically thick wind models. It appears
that the mass-loss rates of these stars depend quite strongly on Z
(dot{M} ∝ Z^{α} with α being equal to about 0.5 - 1 for
Z ≈ 0.002-0.02).
