Several radiative-capture processes of astrophysical interest have been studied by the Coulomb dissociation method. The method has an advantage of high experimental efficiency, which allows measurements with radioactive nuclear beams. Some discussion on the reaction mechanism is presented together with recent experimental results of the breakup of 14O and 8B studied with intermediate-energy radioactive beams.
