A calculation is given for the temperature regime of a neutron star in the distant future, when because of nucleon decay (the average lifetime of a nucleon is about 10 to the 32nd yr), the star's temperature will be determined by the balance of heating due to the process of nucleon decay, reorganization of the star's structure owing to variation of the number of nucleons in it, and cooling due to energy carried off by neutrinos and photon emission from the stellar surface. Equations describing the temperature regime within the framework of the general theory of relativity are obtained. Graphs of the variation of the number of nucleons in the star and its temperature in the time system of a distant observer are presented.
