The authors analyse Hα emission line profiles in the spectrum of the Be star β CMi observed in 1987 - 1988. The following parameters are determined: equivalent width, maximum intensity, relative intensities of blue and red emission peaks (V/R), radial velocities. Rapid variations of Hα emission line profiles are found. Radial velocities of the gaseous envelope expansion are estimated.
