The InterAgency Consultative Group (IACG) Campaign III concept is described, and preliminary results from pilot studies are presented. The objective of IACG Campaign III is to synchronize interplanetary, solar, and near-Earth spacecraft in order to link solar and near-Earth observations of solar mass ejections and such features as corotating interaction regions. Pilot studies show that the helium and oxygen images are representative of chromospheric and transition region temperatures. They show the supergranular nework and, more importantly, a filament, seen in absorption approaching the northwest limb.
