The Serpens molecular clouds have been studied on deep red Schmidt plates. Four small nebulae have been confirmed with interference filter CCD imaging as Herbig-Haro objects. HH 106 and 107 may be the opposite sides of a large bipolar HH flow produced by a 6 solar luminosity IRAS source, with an emission line star as an optical counterpart. HH 108/109 are two HH objects emanating from a deeply embedded 9 solar luminosity IRAS source.
