A status report of the French project to search for dark objects in the
Galactic Halo via gravitational micro-lensing of stars in the Large
Magellanic Cloud is presented. The search uses a combination of Schmidt
photographic plates and CCD images and is sensitive to lensing by
objects in the range 10-7 Me to 10-1 Me.
