This calibration proposal obtains additional WFPC darks, at a rate of 10 darks per camera per month, to supplement those in the Internal Monitor Proposal (4770). These data will allow for an improved dark calibration as well as aid in monitoring the evolution of hot pixels. Recent analysis of the warm/hot pixel population in the darks taken during Cycle 1 indicates that long WFPC exposures can benefit from a monthly dark calibration.
