Flight software 4.0 release will include an important new capability for the GHRS -- return to brightest point following a spiral search. This will become the default target acquisition mode for most observations. This test to be placed in the time line 2-3 weeks after the initial RETURN TO BRIGHT test will allow for maintainence of schedule should an easily correctable problem occur in the first test. This proposal is a slight modification of the sensitivity monitoring proposal (4124) that would normally execute one month later. In this version we include duplicated LSA and SSA exposures to define the SSA photometric sensitivity.
