The photometry of AP Leonis is analyzed using the Wilson-Devinney program. The star is found to be an overcontact binary with an overcontact of 23.5 percent; the mass ratio is 0.301. There may be a starspot group in the low latitude region of the second component. The average temperature of the starspot is 1220 K lower than the surface temperature of the second component. An O-C diagram of the minimum times with period changes of sine and emphemeris is presented. The possibility of the existence of a third body in the system is noted.
