Far-infrared rotational transition lines of H2O vapor are calculated to predict the line intensities under the condition of interstellar molecular clouds. Fractional populations for ortho- and para-H2O molecules are obtained by solving a statistical equilibrium equation in which we employ recent data of H2O-H2 collisional excitation coefficients. Results are shown by presenting excitation temperature and optical depth for representative transition lines. Predicted intensities of several far-infrared lines are also demonstrated for a simplified cloud model.
