We propose to use XMM-Newton to determine the X-ray luminosity of four low-mass T Tauri stars which show evidence for different levels of UV H2 continuum emission. This emission correlates with mm-wave disk molecular emission, suggesting that the source of excitation is e-H2 collisions at the disk surface. The electrons are likely produced by X-ray ionization and we will use the XMM-Newton observations to constrain the X-ray properties of each source. This will aid in the interpretation of the UV emission and provide additional constraints on disk physics induced by X-ray photons. In addition, given the importance of X-rays and these sources to the disk chemistry, these data will prove quite useful for extending our understanding of disk chemical evolution.
