Recently we succeeded to make a reliable effective field theory (EFT) prediction in a totally parameter-free manner for the S-factor of the solar hep process, 3He+p → 4He + e+ + νe, Shep(0) = (8.6 ± 1.3) × 10-20 keV-b. The strategy used in there is to embed a highly sophisticated and realistic nuclear potentials into an EFT framework. By applying the same method to the hen process, 3He + n → 4He + γ, which has many features in common with the hep, we have also demonstrated the validity of the theory prediction; Our result, σhen = (60 ± 3 ± 1) μb, is in good agreement with the experimental values, (54 ± 6) μb and (55 ± 3) μb.
