A new set of the exact solutions in standard and chiral inflationary model (for a homogeneous and isotropic universe) is obtained using 'fine turning' potential methods. A variational formulation of 'slow roll' regime is introduced and, on the basis thereof, an exact solution is constructed. The cosmological model admitting analytical exit from inflation to Friedmann regime is constructed. Formulation of chiral inflationary model is presented and references on exact solutions and on the theory of cosmological perturbations for the model are given.
