If the universe has a nontrivial topology the sky may show multiple correlated images of cosmic objects. These correlations can be translated into distance correlations in pair separations histograms. We introduce a statistical quantity which reveals the topological signature of any Robertson-Walker universe with nontrivial topology. We also show, through computer-aided simulations, how one can extract the topological signature of a flat (k = 0) universe with nontrivial topology.
