The search for macroscopic forces in the submillimeter domain has been recently boosted, mainly due to the favourable theoretical predictions connected with low-energy breaking of supersymmetry1, and to a new scheme of early unification avoiding the hierarchy problem2. Among them we can recognize the Casimir force, the Newtonian interaction and other gravitational-like forces. A review of the experimental efforts in this direction can be found in this proceedings...
