We show that any non-zero negative curvature of the Friedmann-Robertson-Walker Universe provides one of two necessary ingredients for the existence of thermody-namical arrow of time. It is due to (a) exponential mixing of the geodesic flows in hyperbolic manifolds and (b) structural stability of the flows, i.e. their stability with respect to small perturbations. Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) radiation have to carry the signature of both properties, since CMB photons trace the geometry and also indicate that we leave in FRW Universe with small perturbations of metric and even exhibit the magnitude of the perturbations. Since the negatively curved space will expand forever the thermodynamical and cosmological arrows have to be directly correlated. We also point out that the main relations of equilibrium statistical thermodynamics, including the second law and the Gibbs distribution, do not necessarily depend on any arrow of time.
