Up to 10 percent of the neutral gas of the Milky Way is located in the 500 central pc of the Galaxy. This gas is mainly molecular and exhibit particular physical properties (turbulence, widespread high gas temperatures,...) and a rich chemistry (extended emission and high abundances of molecules like SiO or ethanol). The origin of these properties can be related to shocks induced by the large scale dynamics of the Galaxy in the context of a bar potential. To investigate this possibility we have observed the dense and shocked gas in some clouds with outstanding kinematics. The first results confirm the influence of the galactic dynamics in the physics and the chemistry of the molecular gas.
