We discuss the possibility of understanding the large flux of underground muons coming from Cyg X-3 in terms of anomalous vμe interactions. We note that the supersymmetric extension of the standard model with most general R-parity violating couplings contains such interactions. However, it becomes difficult to reconcile the existing observations with constraints on the new interaction that follows from muon decay.
