Monte Carlo calculations have been applied to the determination of correction factors for detection efficiencies of two sorts of fast neutron detectors - a cylindrical proportional counter and a recoil telescope. Correction factors for the sensitive volume of a cylindrical proportional counter have been deduced as a function of the distance between the source and the center of the counter by taking into account the nonparallel incidences of neutrons emerging from a point source in the energy range from En = 0.08 MeV to En = 1.20 MeV. Correction factors for the efficiency of a recoil telescope due to effects of nonparallel incidences of neutrons and multiple scatterings of recoil protons in the radiator have been calculated as a function of the distance between the source and the radiator for En = 2.5 MeV and En = 14.6 MeV.
