A formula is obtained for the coefficients of the expansion of the scattering indicatrix of a homogeneous spherical particle in a Legendre-polynomial series. An efficient algorithm for calculating these coefficients is proposed, and calculation results are presented for particles of different radio and refractive indices. Expansion coefficients are also calculated for a polydisperse system of cloud particles in the Jovian atmosphere in the 0.34-1.14 micron wavelength region.
