Observations with the Spitzer infrared satellite have discovered two sources in the southern sky with morphologies similar to scattered light disks such as the massive disk in M17 and the proplyds in Orion. We propose to observe these two newly discovered disk candidates in the 6 GHz hydroxyl (OH) and methanol (CH3OH) maser transitions. Masers in these lines are associated with hot molecular cores and most commonly with massive star formation. If detected these masers would provide additional evidence that the two disk candidates are associated with star formation.
