Scientific paper

The existence of subclustering in clusters of galaxies was analysed by
two methods, the symmetry test and the angular separation test. These
tests have been applied to positions of galaxies in 18 clusters. The
study of these clusters shows that substructures are present in 30% of
clusters in this case.
