Earth Magnetosphere: Solar Wind
Scientific paper
We have studied the variations detected in the terrestrial magnetosphere
during the event of solar wind disappearance on May 11, 1999. We studied
the propagation of the plasma from the solar wind to the magnetotail
plasma sheet before during and after the day of minimum solar wind. The
bow shock distance Rbow has also been calculated.
