Analytical solutions of force-free equation inside a toroid are derived for constant and non-constant alpha. They can be used for interpretation of solar flux ropes and interplanetary magnetic clouds. The solution with non-constant alpha is valid for arbitrary aspect ratio torus. Magnetic fiels inside toroids with low aspect ratios give very high ratios Bmax/Bmin > 10, while for high aspect ratios this value is about 2.
