Using an earlier correlation analysis between the annual sunspot numbers
at sunspot maximum epochs and the minimal annual aa index in the
immediately preceding years, the minimum aa index (22.0) during 1985
indicates a maximum annual sunspot number of about 200 + or - 40 in the
coming solar maximum epoch, in about 1988.
