Hydrogen Lyman-alpha Stark broadening is calculated for a low-density plasma for detunings smaller than 10 A in the dipolar and no-quenching approximations. Variations of the dynamic relaxation operator with detuning is analyzed for collisions defined by the same initial kinetic energy but different values of the angular momentum, and the intensity is calculated. The effects of trajectory curvatures and relative velocity variations are analyzed.
