This is a review of the ground-based and Earth-orbiting studies of Mars
atmosphere in the last decade that resulted in the detections of HDO, D,
H2, He, and detailed mapping of O3, O2(delta), and CO. These studies
provide new insights on the history of volatiles and climate on Mars.
