Sixteen lectures are presented concerning solar radio bursts, solar hard X-rays, solar flares, solar wind plasmas, magnetic pulsations, instabilities in the neutral sheet and parametric instabilities in astrophysics in relation to heating, acceleration and instabilities of laboratory plasmas. Among them, novel topics were, specifically, the possibility of thermonuclear fusion in flare plasmas; coronal holes, beam, core, and halo electrons in solar wind plasmas; conversion from electron plasma oscillations into type 3 radio bursts; and observations of interplanetary scintillations.
