In the present paper, methods of Andronov's et al. (1966, 1967) qualitative theory of second-order dynamic systems are applied to the analysis of trajectories of the relative motion of a spacecraft about an orbital station in circular orbit. A guidance technique for realizing group-flight and orbital maneuvers is proposed, and relations for the control acceleration and the characteristic velocity, required in the realization of this technique, are derived.
