With 59 strings deployed since early 2009, IceCube is more than half complete. The detector has been taking data in different configurations since construction began in 2006. Here we present a summary of recent results from several physical topics addressed by IceCube, like searches for high energy neutrinos from resolved and unresolved sources, searches for WIMP dark matter and searches for exotic physics. Plans for the low-energy extension of IceCube, DeepCore, are also mentioned.
