A Monte Carlo type simulation on a system of colliding coalescing clouds is carried out to determine the steady state distribution for the situation where large clouds are destroyed and replaced by small clouds. This is a representation of the Oort model of interstellar space. Agreement with the observed mass distribution is good but it is poor with the observed velocity distribution.
