Our main goal of this proposal is to provide improved calibration and testing of theoretical stellar evolution models and empirical mass relations. To do this, we will (1) make precise measurements of the metallicities of known eclipsing binaries with masses and radii measured to ``benchmark-grade" precision (≤ 3%), but which currently lack metallicities, and (2) empirically determine the mass-radius relationship of M dwarf stars using a sample of F/G/K+M dwarf eclipsing binaries in order to establish in detail how the measured radii depend on activity and metallicity.
