Almost all H-alpha full-disk image data observed by BBSO from Jan. 1997 to Jun. 1998 were searched for filament disappearances. A list of the events was compiled for this period. Comparison with the data from EIT, LASCO and Yohkoh is being carried out to obtain the relationship between CME events and filament disappearances. The first result shows that many filament disappearance events seem to have no corresponding CME events.
