Hst Proposal Id #6871 Galaxies &Amp, Clusters

Scientific paper

NGC 404 is one of the nearest examples of a low luminosity active galactic nucleus in small galaxies. The goal is to obtain an initial exploration of the optical continuum and HII-emission properties of the AGN and its immediate surroundings. NGC 7673 is a high surface brightness spiral where we will search for an AGN at near-UV wavelengths.
