Ultraviolet spectra of Jupiter's icy satellites Europa andGanymede have revealed the presence of contaminants in surfaceices produced by ion irradiation. SOt ice has beenidentified on the trailing hemisphere of Europa at 280 nm andoz on the trailing hemisphere of Ganymede in a broad band at260 nm. Recalibrated IUE spectra now suggest the presence ofa broad absorption band on Ganymede's trailing hemisphere. Wewill complete our survey of the ultraviolet spectra of theseobjects by measuring the UV spectrum of Callisto with the HSTFOS.
