Aim of this proposal is to obtain HST images in the V, R, and I band of elliptical galaxies in the cluster CL0952+44 at redshift 0.377. The photometric parameters {Re and SBe} and the color gradients of these E's will be derived. Together with spectroscopic data we collected from the ground {velocity dispersions and line strengths of Mg, Fe, HBeta} and the HST images collected during Cycle 5 of two other clusters, this will allow us to investigate the evolution of cluster E's with redshift.
