This paper discusses the development of a high resolution, hard x-ray
telescope for imaging hard x-rays generated by energetic electrons
accelerated in solar flares. We discuss the particular requirements of a
hard x-ray telescope intended for solar observations, our approach to
meeting these requirements, and progress made to date.
