We propose to study inner circumstellar disks of YSOs with the CHARA array using H- and K-band science instruments. The primary objective is to resolve and characterize the inner dust and gas disks in order to test disk models of Pre-Main Sequence (PMS) stars, and establish density and temperature profiles in the inner disks. The proposed CHARA observations would provide complementary measurements to our ongoing YSO study with the Keck Interferometer using the N-band Nuller, L-band and K- band science instruments. These studies have broad implications in understanding physical processes such as dust condensation, accretion and mass loss. The CHARA array is uniquely capable of making the proposed measurements, owing to larger and multiple baseline choices.
