The results of mapping trials of the 4 mm emission lines of HCCCN and H2CO around Sgr West are reported. The observations were made along the galactic plane with a 1.5 arcmin grid using the dual channel mixed cooler 36 ft telescope at Kitt Peak. Significant depression of the HCCCN, NH3, and H2CO lines wre observed, with the depleted molecules toward Sgr A West having a linewidth 20 km/sec smaller than HCN and HCO(+) lines. The CO emission was also depressed about 20 percent near Sgr A West. Since the HCCCN around Sgr West was more excited than in any of the surrounding area, it is assumed that the direction particle density increases and the HCCCN abundance decreases by a factor of 1/30. Various speculations regarding possible causes of the depletions are discussed.
