Scientific paper

A calibration of the most useful spectropolarimetric modes of the FOS
will be obtained. The calibration will determine the locations of the
polarization spectra, the transmission of the polarizer, the angles of
the Wollaston prisms and waveplates in celestial coordinates, and the
instrumental polarization.
