This is a new test submitted in October, 1987. It defines an SV test using observations of the radiometric standard star Eta Ursa Majoris to calibrate the photocathode granularity and diode to diode response variations. Three positions are calibrated for each detector, corresponding to the wavelengths of important interstellar features. For Echelle A they are lambda = 1355, 1550,and 1657 A. For Echelle B they are lambda = 2325,2600, and 2796 A. Exposures of the internal flat field lamps will be used to evaluate their usefulness for calibrating detector nonuniformities. Observations of Zeta Puppis will be made to calibrate the granularity near Ly alpha, lambda = 1216A.
