As a first priority, we intend to determine the unpolarized transmission coefficients to a relative accuracy of 0.3% in the B band and in the UV, using an STScI standard extended unpolarized source. As a second priority, we intend to determine the effective polarimeter position angle offset with respect to the HST axes to an accuracy of 3 degrees, using an STScI standard extended polarized source. The values of the polarized transmission coefficients will also be be determined to an accuracy of 3%, although it is not expected that these coefficients will change significantly from their pre-launch values.
