Periodicities on the order of ten days observed in the Cyg X-3, Cyg X-2, and AO 620-00 binary X-ray sources are discussed. It is suggested that the periodicities may be caused by apsidal precession. Optical photometric and X-ray data are used in analyzing the periodicities; corresponding eccentricities in the range of 0.5 to 0.7 (comparable to the highest observed eccentricity of a binary pulsar) are calculated. Further investigations, relying on direct observation of eccentricity from shifts in spectral lines, are proposed to clarify the findings.
