Previous X-ray observations of V603 Aql, the brightest nova of the 20th century, have shown it to be a bright X-ray source consisting of both high (kT ≥5 keV) and medium (kT ~1 keV) temperature components. We have obtained a 64 ksec observation of this system with Chandra HETG, performed on 2001 April 19/20, and of a series of RXTE PCA observations over the period 2001 April 17--22 for a total of 60 ksec. Here we present preliminary results from these observations.
