We conducted a series of photometric and spectroscopic observations of FS Aur during quiescence. We spectroscopically confirmed its short Porb ≅ 87m. But long-term photometry revealed a distinct 0fm24 modulation in the BV R bands with a period of ~205 min, which is 2.4 times longer than Porb. We discuss possible causes for this peculiar behaviour.
