Neutrino fluxes from the sun, the earth's atmosphere, and supernovae provide interesting probes for mixings between different neutrino flavors. Confident use of such probes requires good understanding of neutrino production at the source on the one hand, and unambiguous signatures of neutrino mixings on the other. The indications of neutrino mixings from observations of the solar and atmospheric neutrinos will be discussed briefly. The main part of the talk will focus on establishing an astrophysical probe for neutrino mixings by examining the role of neutrinos in the production of heavy elements in supernovae. The signatures of supernova neutrino mixings in terrestrial detectors will also be discussed.
