The existence in space of relativistic high energy dust particles accelerated directly by the radiation of a supernova explosion is reconsidered. It is shown that the dust particles can be accelerated up to energies in the range 10^20 eV and that their energy spectrum should be a power-law. The range of dust dimensions and energies which can exist and not be destroyed by the charge accumulation induced by inverse Compton scattering of radiation is analyzed.
