Properties of the closed and nonempty cosmological solution of the Brans-Dicke theory as a homogeneous isotropic dust model with negative coupling parameter are summarized. The model has seven parameters and four equations, so by taking values for the age of the universe, the gravitational constant, and the coupling parameter as determined by almost local measurements, the other four parameters are determined. (The coupling parameter is evaluated by taking the difference between the theoretical value in the Einstein theory and the upper limit of observational values of the perihelion rotation of Mercury.)
